About Tandem Taxi bike cab service in Seattle, WA

The pedicab is owned by Zach Weissman and pedaled by two Seattle locals. Their qualifications include: having had legs for the majority of their lives. Also, they've had prior experience in rotating pedals and walking around the areas of north Seattle.

We have a number of tour designs depending on what you and your friend or significant other would like to experience in Seattle. The pedicab, or rickshaw, seats two adults, and a small child; small child not required. The tours will let you naturally experience the life of Fremont and its surrounding neighborhoods, in true Seattle fashion; environmentally friendly.

Trolls and Trolly Folk
This tour focuses on the art of the Fremont/Ballard area. We will see the prominent statues of Fremont, political and bizarre. Gallery tours by the Fremont and Ballard owners of them, as well as shopkeepers of local boutiques. At a coffee shop will lounge and chat with the local artist whose work is on display.

Rovin' round the Oven
Another pedicab tour will delight in the culinary creations of Fremont and Wallingford. Two different bakeries, both organic, both distinct, guide us through their technique and philosophy. Then tour the neighborhood's own chocolate factory, both organic and fair trade, and chocolatey. Stop in at the co-op for some local cheese. Finish the day off at Hale's Ales, sippin' the taste of hops from Washington State. (If child present, a soda shop will be enjoyed).

Roll and Park
Another tour includes the parks of Seattle, The Emerald City. See the Locks of Ballard, where the boats are lifted from the saltwater Puget Sound to freshwater Lake Union. Also, the Salmon fish ladder and gardens living and breathing around the Locks exhibit a tickling array of flora, the expected and unexpected. We will stop at the market for some fresh food, on our way to Gasworks Park, staying along the water the entire way. Picnic on the meandering mounds of grass.

Pictures on the right are of sites seen in the neighborhood and on tours.

Pedicab Tour Costs

Taxi ready soon!

I just talked to the guy building the taxi, and he's now devoting his full attention to the project. Soon we will have a pedicab, powered by two people, able to conquer Seattle's hills. Check back here for updates on the day we 'open our doors' (haha, our pedicab won't have doors).
